Kayla Walton is originally from Denver, Colorado. For the past 19 years, she has been calling Juneau home. She received her B.S. of Science in Exercise Science from Texas Wesleyan University and minored in Coaching. She made the Dean’s list while involved with the Wesleyan Woman’s Collegiate Soccer Program.
Kayla’s passion for sports began as a child. She has represented Alaska during numerous venues. She finished 9th out of 14 competitors at Hershey’s track and field meet in the standing long jump, along with additional events. Kayla has also been goalkeeper for the Juneau Soccer Club X-Tuffs; helping the team see three State Cup Tournament Championships.
At the Yellowknife Arctic Winter Games and March’s Arctic Winter Games held in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Kayla helped to take the gold medal for indoor soccer. She additionally contributed as a field player in 2012, placing the Lady Rams in the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament; ending the season with a record of 12-6-2.
Kayla enjoys an exciting career as a Chiropractic Assistant at our Arctic Chiropractic office, thanks to her dedicated personality and extensive background in athletics and exercise science. She enjoys continuing to develop her knowledge about the amazing human body. Kayla is also coaching the Thunder Mountain High School Women’s Soccer Program and the Juneau Soccer Club.
