Alexandria McIntyre

Alexandria McIntyre was born and raised in West Point, New York. She became interested in the medical field at an early age after seeing her grandfather fighting cancer. She attended The University of North Carolina, receiving her Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science Degree.

She did missionary work and research in Darling South Africa and Israel with her father. In 1981 she continued her education at Aston University receiving her PhD in Physics. In 2004 she completed work in a few large hospitals, and took an early retirement to go back to school. She speaks Spanish, Hebrew, Italian and some Greek.

Alexandria received her LMT certification in Napa Valley, California with Dr Klein in Healing Arts in 2004. Soon after she went to Phuket Thailand with Dr Klein to start a massage practice in his Phuket clinic for a year. Through her travels and missionary work she has experienced how alternative healing is the way to go.

Alexandria has a blend of western and eastern techniques. She feels that no two treatments are ever the same as each patient has their own unique plan of care based on the evaluation of a Chiropractor, Physical Therapist or Physician, and the patient’s presenting problems.

Alexandria is a licensed and insured massaged therapist who is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She incorporates several approaches in her Medical Massage Practitioner training, including, but not limited to hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, cupping, Thai massage, deep tissue , sports massage, advanced myofascial release, myoskeletal therapy, and Quantum Reflex Warm Stone massage Integration (QRI). She prides herself on helping patients eliminate pain and heal soft tissue injuries.

Alexandria remains committed to learning more. During her leisure time she enjoys biking, snow machining, sailing, hiking, wine tasting, and traveling, as well as spending time with her family (11 grandchildren) and friends.
