Heather was born and raised in Rochester, NY, and grew up playing a wide variety of sports. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University at Buffalo. Her background includes working with athletes of all levels, from elementary to professional, across a wide range of sports, including hockey, swimming, volleyball, figure skating, football, and soccer. Heather worked for a while as a Strength and Conditioning coach before deciding she wanted to travel. She has spent the past 4 years traveling across the western US and working as a physical therapist in varying settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and neurological rehabilitation facilities. Heather was drawn to Alaska for its beauty and outdoors opportunities. Heather specializes in post-operative care, joint replacement care, sports rehabilitation, return to sports care, and balance work.
