Tala is from the small island of Maui, Hawaii. However, she has called Alaska her home since moving here in 2010
She says that the Aloha spirit is very much alive in Alaska as it is in Maui. Tala graduated from the University of Alaska with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and is currently working towards her Medical Doctorate as she is aspiring to become a neurosurgeon. Tala says that she is proud to be a part of a team that is always focused on excellent care, customer service, and a family-oriented atmosphere. When Tala isn’t in the office, you can usually find her volunteering in the community with her pageant sisters, playing rugby, or fishing with her dogs!
