Lorie was born in Oregon but spent much of her childhood and young adult years living in SE Alaska. She developed a love of nature and the people of Alaska and has always wanted to return!
Lorie is the mother of 4 grown children and the grandmother of 4! She spent many years living on the East Coast with her then Navy husband but returned to Oregon 3 years ago.
Lorie was trained at the Advanced Fuller School of Massage in Virginia Beach VA, finishing her studies in 2015 with a focus on medical and therapeutic massage. Lorie specializes in working with those who are suffering from acute or chronic pain, either due to accident or chronic illness. Lorie is specifically trained in deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, prenatal and oncology massage.
Lorie also spent the most recent 3 years working for a busy chiropractic office and really enjoys the benefits patients receive when getting massage and chiropractic care in tandem.
Lorie is excited to be returning to Alaska and having the opportunity to serve rural Alaskans.
