Dr. Scott Folsom
Dr. Scott Folsom, a native of Amarillo, Texas, brings a wealth of expertise and passion to Arctic Chiropractic, where he has served since moving to Alaska in 2013. With a BS in Anatomy, a BS in Health and Wellness, and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic, Dr. Folsom is dedicated to helping patients achieve pain-free, optimal function. A Level 3 certified medical professional with the Titleist Performance Institute and a certified Kinesiotape practitioner, he specializes in correcting functional movement using SFMA and FCS screenings, combined with fascial manipulation. His fascination with the body’s natural healing abilities drives him to continually refine his techniques for advanced, effective care. Before joining Arctic Chiropractic, he practiced for two years at a high-volume pain relief clinic in Amarillo. A former competitive gymnast with two national titles in trampoline and double mini-trampoline, an Eagle Scout, and fluent Czech speaker, Dr. Folsom enjoys family time with his wife, Katie, and their five children—Eliott, Max, Julia, Luke, and Elizabeth—as well as practicing Tai Ji Quan. An accomplished illustrator, he also brought his creativity to life in the children’s book Do Zombies Brush Their Teeth?. Passionate about helping patients return to the activities they love, Dr. Folsom is eager to support your journey to recovery.
