Christian Tapia
Christian’s family is originally from Philippines, but he was born and raised in Kodiak, AK and has lived in Alaska his whole life. He participated in multiple sports programs growing up including basketball, wrestling, and track & field. He moved to Anchorage for college, earning his Bachelor’s in Natural Sciences Pre-Health Occupations, and his Associate’s in Physical Therapy Assistant from UAA. After college he decided to stay in Anchorage for the career opportunities available to him as he works towards his goals of continuing his education.
Christian has been working in the healthcare field for over 6 years and has been licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant for over 3. He has experience working with a variety of patients including post orthopedic surgery, neurological disorders, and cardiopulmonary complications. He has a passion for providing care, helping his patients along their journey to wellness, and finds it very rewarding seeing and being a part of their progression. He strives to continue to learn and grow as a clinician, always finding ways to improve his patient care.
When he is not in the clinic, you will find Christian spending his free time weightlifting, camping, hiking, annoying his dog, watching sports, playing video games, and singing karaoke poorly.
