Laya made the decision to pressure a career in massage therapy when she experienced firsthand how beneficial good therapeutic care is for someone struggling with chronic illness and pain.

A graduate of Alaska Career College in Anchorage, she does not plan to stop there! She is continuously working on her techniques with a desire to further her education into more widespread modalities, all while striving to provide the best individualized care for each patient she sees.

As a lifelong Alaskan, Laya grew up hunting, fishing, hiking in the summer, and downhill skiing in the winter. When not in the clinic, or taking advantage of Alaksa’s outdoor adventure opportunities, you will find Laya and her fiancé bringing their favorite comedies and doing various arts and crafts projects from their home.
