Dr. Rob van Zweeden

Dr. Rob graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, IA in 1980 and has been in practice ever since.

After graduation he returned to his native New Zealand, where he established a clinic in Hamilton, part of the country’s farming heartland. He returned to the U.S. in 1986, and in 1988 established his own clinic in Northeast Phoenix, AZ where he continued to practice until 2012 when he sold his practice and moved to Anchorage.  He has been a proud member of the Anchorage Chiropractic community ever since.

Dr. Rob’s primary goal remains to get his patient back to doing what they need to do and what they love to do, and appropriately and quickly as possible.  Through ongoing education, he has studied and utilized the best combination of the most up-to-date soft tissue and nutritional approaches to augment his chiropractic techniques and rehabilitation programs.

Dr. Rob’s interests have meant that staying in good health is a priority.  He continues to play Masters’ Rugby, (being invited to play in Colorado in the ‘Over 50 and over 60’s tournaments), as well as local team competitions here in Alaska.  He has been, and continues to be, a player, coach, and team physician for the teams in which he plays.  His other interests include water skiing, snow skiing, horseback riding, and sailing.
